You can contribute to a new book and get a low cost copy for yourself!  We would love if you would pledge to our book and share with your friends!

How our book improves on what has been done:

  • Digital copies: Many books are not available on Kindle despite the fact that almost every graduate student has one.  Our book will be published first to Kindle
  • Stories from students with different outcomes: Most books that do have stories either just have one story and the majority of books generally are outlines.  These are hard for most people to relate to and infrequently shared
  • Pictures!  We will have as many pages of pictures as writing which will make reading more enjoyable and less like a textbook
  • Opportunity to have your story included in future editions: Share your story with us at http://prograd.us!

Mission:

This summer, we are writing a book that will share stories about graduate programs with the purpose of helping the many students entering graduate/professional programs succeed in both graduating and planning a successful career.  Many books have been published on this subject but they are mundane outlines not worth recommending.  We want to create a book that people will actually read, enjoy, and relate to in the form of short stories.  Whatever you want to write about is acceptable and the more stories you have the better!  Additionally, any pictures you have from that time in your life would help enhance the ability for readers to connect with you as the writer.  To submit your story, email banfield@mail.usf.edu.

We hope you will share as many stories as you have and encourage your friends to share theirs.  Please submit your story within two weeks of seeing this post.

Thank you very much for your support and we will hope to hear from you soon.
